Help with Ticket Studio

A question, a bug, a request? Write to mail@conradknorr.de. I develop the app on my own and usually reply within two working days. Please mention your device, the iOS version and the feature concerned.

The scanner shows no picture.

The app needs permission to use the camera. The scanner shows a button that leads straight to the iOS Settings. The camera is used in the scanner only.

A guest has no ticket with them.

Tap the magnifying glass in the scanner and search by name, e-mail or code. Tapping the guest checks them in.

Sending e-mail fails.

Check the server, port, user name and password of your SMTP account, and whether TLS or SSL matches your provider. Many providers require a separate app password. Send a test to yourself first. The password is kept in the device’s keychain.

The second door cannot find the first.

Both devices must be in the same event, with “Other doors” switched on and the same door code entered. iOS asks for local network permission the first time; it is also in Settings under Ticket Studio. Wi-Fi or Bluetooth must be on on both devices.

How do I back up my data?

Export the guest list as a CSV file under Settings › Guest list. The file can be imported again on any device. An iCloud or computer backup of the iPhone includes the app.

Where are my tickets from the Windows version?

Export them there as CSV and import the file in the app. The Windows version is no longer offered.
